I am a parent of a non-verbal 13 yo with CP. I started using Boardmaker when my son was three years old so I could make customized communication boards for his activities. Over the years,  I have made countless communication aids to help him "voice" his needs and wants. There was no turning back.

In 2002 I  I published my first series of awareness-building note cards using the PCS under license. You can view my card catalog is online at www.GivingGreetings.com/send.html. I donate ten percent of sales to organizations that support children with special needs. In 2008, I created www.SayitwithSymbols.com, a web resource for ideas, books, visual supports and more to help families help encourage communication at home, at school and in the community.
